SUBJECT: UNNAMED CREATURE 0087
OBSERVATION #: 001

INTRO:
"Creature arrived at our facility today. Transported in a heavy, 2 inch thick steel container; all heads blind folded and muzzled for protection of staff.
Housed in an 8ft. by 8ft. room lined with nickel, 1 mile underneath ground level in an attempt to deter teleportation. Not enough is known to know if this is an effective form of containment.
Two rotating cameras, positioned on opposite sides of the room - each camera providing a light located on the bottom of the fixture. This is the only light provided. The cameras are always on. As of today, all functions are active and normal.
BEHAVIOR:
Creature appears to remain in a sitting position in the center of the room, it's body has not moved since it was placed in containment. The only sign of life in said creature is the movement of its eyes. It appears to know which camera is being observed at any given time, and keeps eye contact with the lense until the camera is switched. I assume it is evaluating its surroundings, and us. It seems very aware of humans, and knows what we are. It seems very likely that this creature is self aware.
It's 2 heads on each side of its central mind seem to be inactive. It is reported that these heads remain inactive for an unpredictable amount of time. Little is known what triggers the awakening of either head. It is reported if both heads awaken, the central head will become inactive itself, it's eyes becoming static, almost as if it lost it's signal. This leads to the idea that this is not a biological creature. More testing is required.

After 10 hours of continuous observation, the creature has still not moved.

After 24 hours of continuous observation, the creature has only moved the position of its main head.

At approximately 1:15:06 AM, all camera feed was suddenly cut - only static coming through the image screens. After a few more seconds of static, the image reappeared, only this time the creature was not in the middle of the room, but in the corner, laying down in a standard canine sleeping position. It was no longer looking at the camera, and the central head seemed to have it's eyes closed.
Later inspection of the cameras showed no sign of tampering or internal malfunction.
It has been discussed that this creature shows signs of an ability to manipulate electric equipment. It will need further testing to solidify this claim; until that later date, this occurrence will be labeled as 'magnetic interference.'

Basic Testing will commence on August 20th, 2011."

(I really like SCP based containment ideas, but I didn't want to make him an actual SCP... so I'm going to be doing things like this for a while, before his escape in 2014. Basically a way to build his character information I suppose.
I also LOVE LOVE LOVE to write and analyze behavior, so this is just so much fun for me.
Expect another rather soon...ish.
