You're right! It's really difficult! But I discovered that it's essential having some suitable brushes on Photoshop and using strong contrast. ^-^

May I ask which brushes you use? (Doing some concept art in a similar style and it would be super helpful to know UwU)
And aaaaaaaah you keep doing such a rad job with these :3

I'm using a set made by my digital color-teacher. (I can ask him about sharing them here... or maybe they have already been shared somewhere else. I'll ask! ^-^) Anyway, thank you so much!! °////°

Oh well, I don't use digital devices to draw... I use "the old style" (even if actually taking a pencil, an eraser and a piece of paper can't be considered old, right?)
I'm sure that with the little help of computers everything is simpler... but with real drawing tools the thing is very very very very very DIFFICULT. Changing the topic, it seems that to obtain the (beautiful) result above, there are been used many "drawing layers" (is this their name?) and each one contains a certain type of details of the background, then, somehow, someone (was this person you? I didn't understand, sorry! ) picked them all, aligned and coloured them and TAH DAH! Well, for me these things are like very complex magic tricks xD, that's the one big reason why I appreciate more drawing on paper than on a monitor.... anyway, do you think that is possible to get the same result (or something very similar) drawing in "The Old Style"? (xD)
P.s I'm very sorry for any english grammar mistake, if you didn't get the meaning of something in this comment don't wait to ask me what the heck I was trying to say ahahahahha

Don't worry, my english is pretty bad too, ahahah! X°D
Anyway, yes! For this one I used 26 layers! And I guess that they could be even more in the original one from the show! ^^
Of course obtaining this effect with traditional art would be very very very difficult, as you said! ^^''' But I think is possible, maybe with acrylics color. :3

Ahahah, oddio non posso crederci! Epico. X°D

So you think it's impossible to get a lineart of this type of background with "traditional art"?
