KDE SC 4.10.4 - Be::Shell - Bespin - coverzAgain more roundness and some color variations and
it is... just flaaaaaat.
But for the freaks a terminal with text
( this is very important to show text in a terminal,
because colored text is very interesting and so on ),
there you can see that clementine is very hungy...
and I'm an idiot...

Ok, it's flat, but now that i'm writing you from windows 8,
i can tell you without regrets:
" It is flat - flat sucks - but this does not. Waaaaaaaaaaay better than win8 interface"
Although, i prefer your work in progress version for the weather panel. The icons were good,
and the light gradient was helpful to gain a little contrast.

It is flat and it is boring to set simple colors as backgound... there is no challenge to do that.
I know how windows 8 looks, but that makes this one not better.

You're underastimating this scrot anyway:
it has LaGaDesk's BE::Shell layout ( by itself
it has always been a nice concept)
which makes it earn points
I know, but as you said it's the future,
better to make a reason that all GUIs are
going this way.
Until a cure to the flat madness will be found

Really nice, the way every element is in sync is just sublime. I was thinking though why not cut off the square dark corner edges leaving it rounded?

Yeah - Those are the only 4 little bits that seem out of sync. I know its nit picking - but given how in sync everything else is - they sort of caught my eye as being removable oddities.

Well, the rounded corners is a feature of BE::Shell and I really like it.
I'm mostly too lazy to cut them before I upload to deviantArt.

I can see how the rounded corners would work nicely on the desk though- as they compliment the rounded edges of top and bottom panel.
