Funfact: According to an arachnophobe, spiders in video games are less scary if they don't resemble spiders. Like, a spider-like monster that barely registers as a spider, due to having the wrong number of limbs, or wings, or some other feature spiders don't typically have, would be less scary than a large spider.
Also, I really wish DeviantArt had a filter for more common phobias, like it does with mature content.
