Possible commission for , because this was meant to be a pixel piece, but I liked it way too much to just let it be a simple pixel.I saw a single pose somewhere that really really inspired me to do this, and for once I just took off. It didn't feel like WORK, more like a lot of fun! I didn't stress about it, and I think it helped it come out better then ever. I love this, and I feel it shows my improvement a lot.
Mesherew (Pooka's) and Neferjar(Mine). The twins, son and daughter to Wepi(Pooka's) and Taimoset(Mine). They have a deep connection, and can speak to each other with their minds. Last we left off, Neferjar was missing. Here, I imagine them connected once again from very far away, and finally their souls touch again, even if just for a moment.
I used Pooka's old art of them as refs, and for once I've gotten Nefer's design right. Thats sad D:

I love this piece.
The only problems I see are the fur looks a little pointy and awkward since it points in a different direction at times, the chin goes in a little too much, and the nose is a little bit too small.
Otherwise the paws and legs look adorable, the overall body shape is great and the character designs are very unique and I quite like them.
The only other thing I'd suggest is having the two look down at each other or point their heads down at each other.

Thank you SOOO much for this comment! Really, it means a lot to me to actually have someone tell me how I could better myself and my style! It helps, and I will take it into consideration and maybe soon I will try to fix this piece, and I will for sure think of it on my next one I draw. 
And thats a great idea for posing them. On my desktop I have them like this yet facing eachother, and landscape style instead. Maybe I ought to try more.

This is a really nice picture, I love the poses and how their paws are just barely touching. The colouring is very interesting too, since you mixed cell-shading and soft-shading in a nice, balanced way

I love the twins' design. Who thought it up? Nice and simple, but with a special originality to it. Particularly nowadays, when Neo-based characters have twenty different shades and such...

I do, I sketch normal sized, but then I resize it to 400% the original size and finish the lineart and coloring that way. Sometimes it makes it frustrating because the program will stop doing what I want, but everyone says it makes their work nicer, and I think it does help

Yeah, Your pieces look great. I think the resizing helps seal the seams, it helps with my pieces (although I can only do about 200% cause my poor net book can't take more).

Mesherew means shadow, I named my character that way because he's a shadow djinn
Unfortunately I haven't drawn him for ages, I even have to revamp his design a bit :/ I should draw my djinns together in a group pic or something \o/

Lol, many khemetic words had numerous meanings. It's the term 'Evening' that I went for with my Mesherew. (Mostly because I couldn't find 'night'. XD )

Aw, this is so touching! The composition is lovely. Their matching expressions and poses convey the bond you're talking about, how even though they're going opposite directions, they have that connection. The coloring of their eyes and jewelry is very pretty, too.
