some people say i have problems for doing this. i know this isnt exactly "artistic" photography, but i really didnt know where else to put the pic, and IMO the dye job is the art. anyway, i hope you like my dog and his hair.-Lain

What's with dying dogs pink. My friend dyed his dog's hair pink too. Plus gave it a mohawk on his head. It was pretty nice looking and the dog was happy that he was able to see.

I see that the dye doesn't go near the roots.
Cigarettes are still sold even though they are toxic, just as hair dye.
Powdered laundry detergent with enzymes is still sold, even though it eats organic materials such as blood (blood which is in your lungs too)
One is just advertised about being toxic more than the others.

if you take a look at the pic, youll see not much hair was dyed, and it dosent even touch the roots of his hair. and does it look like i used enough to poison my dog through an overdose of dye? no it does not. and how can you compare cigarettes to hair dye?

Hair dye is sold in a relatively safe amount for humans (although poisoning can still occur). Animals are smaller and have more hair to cover, resulting in a larger area of skin exposed which absorbs the poisoness substances in hair dye.

I wish my dogs hair wasn't black, or i'd do the same thing. I think your dog likes it. You should dye it some other colors, make it a rainbow dog.
