Some original art after all the recent fanart.I was thinking of things too do for my film next year in college and I came up with this. Its about a guy trying to catch the attention of the girl in the moon and he keeps doing all these crazy things to try and get to her.
One of these things involves a giraffe and some magic beans.....it kind of a dumb idea
Probably way to complicated for my 2nd year film anyway
Its done with a mixture of both taditional and digital media

This immediately caught my eye. I read the story "to the moon and back" a classic, to my children. I thought of that book and the love we shared reading it! this drawing provoked the same warm feeling. Very nice job!

hahha, when I saw your picture I was instantly coming up with an animated story in mind, I figured you were going to animate it and just about then I saw the link to your actual animation 
This ilustration's got a lot of life in it. Would work damm great for the book front face, if the story was a book.

Thank you. I've often thought about doing a childrens book based on this story. I still havn't got a clue how you go about doing that kind of thing, getting stuff published and all that, but it might be a possibility one day

I love it! I think you've done a great job of marrying the traditional and digital materials to create a great piece. Is the traditional part of it watercolor?

Fantastic! I like sketching with markers, but I find them difficult to color large areas with (I'm not in practice, of course, so that probably has something to do with it). And watercolors...well, you can forget about that. I'm terrible with them. XD

Wow, the original art is very pretty too! I like this as well as your film too~ But I do have to say I like this design of the girl in the moon better than in the film (though the one in the film was probably easier to animate)

Yeah, I would have liked to have gone with this design but it would have been way too hard to animate. Got to keep it simple
