He turned out great! I remember thinking he looked more evil when I saw him, but now I feel he is more troubled. Love your solution for the environment outside! This series is going to look amazing all together!

Thanks Amy. I'm glad you see him that way too, he's not as close to the original sketch as I wanted him to be, but just evolved that way all the same, and it kinda made sense that he would be a little troubled. I also realized last night I lost all the pics of the progression of this one when our computer crashed...how's that for ironic? Ha! Oh well, I'm excited for the next one...almost there!

Bummer about the lost pics. Is the Lion Tamer next? I am working on the forth version of a piece for this mini series within the Vivarium series. I wanted to do a sketch on crappy paper and then transfer it to nice paper to ink, but the first transfer was too dark and I couldn't erase the lines and the second kinda light. I tried inking the second, but it looked like total poop, so now I am starting completely over on nice paper with a ruler and just erasing the pencil. I don't know where it went so wrong. Sigh!

hmmm...maybe 4th time? Ugh! I think I am going to have to start from scratch. I am not sure where it went wrong, but it just won't work for a drawing or a coloring book page. Argh!
