While partaking in the festivities surrounding the Inoran Harvest, Liserli runs into a peculiar traveller with a wreath of glowing flowers around their neck. They obviously possess an unusual assortment of skills, which they put down to the effect of the flowers they are wearing, claiming that the wreath is, in fact, made of magical plants that give the wearer supreme strength and grant them a variety of magic abilities. Liserli immediately believes their explanation, opting not to question it whatsoever, and, after a few days spent together at the Harvest, asks them if they might be willing to part with a few of the flowers - after all, Liserli could use these to better fight against Drakhan's forces in Sorcas, though they of course do not include this reasoning in their request. Lorcán hesitantly parts with a few of the flowers, and the two run into one another a couple more times during the festival, until, on the very last night, Lorcán approaches their new friend, looking uncharacteristically solemn, and invites them to a nearby grove, saying they 'owe them an explanation'. Liserli cautiously follows them, only to be led to a grove filled to the brim with glowing flora; the same type that Lorcán used to wear around their neck and attribute magical abilities to. They had been lying all along. Lorcán's abilities do, in fact, come from the Niravar themselves, not from an external source; what they initially thought would be a quick excuse to satisfy Liserli's curiosity turned into a significantly larger ordeal, and though they are not one to disclose secrets lightly, they quickly found themselves feeling rather guilty for deceiving their friend. Both Niravar part ways after leaving the grove, having learned a lesson about honesty and trust.
