Hahahahah, oh maaaan thanks so much for the super-kind comment, hehehe!!  <3  The textures are totally accidental of me just fudgin' around in Photoshop hahaha, but thaaanks!!  I use the pencil tool on variable opacity so it makes for some interesting textures for me~ x)  
(And blood is just too much fun lmao, I know I overdo it every time but I just, can't help myself-! XD)

Ahhh but of course, I never mind answering questions about my characters!!

Yeah, she has a double mastectomy!  Jean's a vamp, and a lot of vamps who don't have blood partners/stable sources of blood end up in the underground fight rings, which are heavily male-dominated and almost completely lawless/chaotic.  She tried to hide her sex but got found out and basically raped; she ended up choosing to get her breasts removed, which, well, if nothing else cemented her image of "psychotic bitch who'll literally rip your face off" (which she did once, along with systematically killing the ones who'd attacked her) and, well, it kind of worked in getting them to leave her alone, hahaha.  That, and not long after Salim showed up and kind of made it his self-proclaimed duty to try and "protect" her from the other vamps, much to Jean's disdain, hahahaha.

ahhh I see!! Thats a really interesting backstory! It makes me kind of sad to know that because she's female that had to happen to her but I suppose these things happen in real life I love how of a little ball of fire she is though, she's so feisty!! Oh also, who's Salim? I think I recall seeing the same incisions on their chest that Jean does? Or am I misconstruing that with another character?

(I collectively call the two of them the cannibal couple since they are both actual literal cannibals hahaha)

And you might have 'em confused with Sariel--Jean and Sariel reference/info  which is actually just Jean, older!  Shit happens and she ends up with black hair and stuff, hahahaha.  (So technically everything to do with Jean and Salim is backstory stuff for my novel, b-b-but I just love backstories too much-!!)

Pahahahahah, no problem man, and hahaha, they really do!!

I feel bad because I think I always just end up drawing really cutesy/funny scenarios between them, but in reality they like, barely even get along and it isn't long before they kind of start to tear each other apart because they're both kind of shit people hahahahah;;;;
