Oh shit, I already fell a day behind schedule lmao;;; Man, this stuff is hard-!!I-In my defense, I was super-busy all day with TA'ing and then going on a grunion run??? Chasing fishies on the beach??? Until midnight??? It was an interesting (but fun!) day, lol.
BUT ANYWAY, OK, HERE WE GO-!! H-Here's page two, I hope it doesn't look too wonky, I spent forever on the perspective shots and they still look wonky but... hey, practice makes perfect, eh??;;;
Anyway, hope you guys enjoy!! Yes, it's gonna be a comic with my favorite little killer, Sariel-!

Talking about backgrounds, I'm really amazed by the result here, and the lighting that gives depth to the place. I can't wait to read mire pages because that's already visually awesome!

Yes, I think you can be happy with the result, for the backgrounds and the general look of the pages.
Are all the characters kids ? Those two seem to be teenagers, 20 at most.

I think that's pretty hard to have characters looking their real age !
It may be a matter of proportions here?
The height of the character looks more realistic in your drawings to me. I mean you're not always a giant at 20 in real life. But often in comics, mangas, or various drawing styles, people are really taller than they would actually be. It may be why in comparison yours look a bit smaller and thus a few years younger I guess. Anyways, I really like them they way you do!
Do you use references when you draw their bodies and poses ? I hope soon I'll be able to draw bodies and proportions as well as you do, without needing any reference to make it look good

Ahhhh, I usually don't use many references for bodies, I'm too lazy, and I can never find the right ref for the pose I want to draw... xD Mostly I use references to draw hands, and usually I just pose and take my own photos for those.
Thank you for your kind words!! After a while of doing lots of life drawings and quick gestures you begin to internalize proportions and landmarks on the body, and can start to make up poses on your own. It's good to always practice making up your own poses now too to see what feels right/works and what doesn't!

Okay , it's happening again , my feels , when i first started staring at this page i just feelt something badass coming, and then you just ..... definittly killed me !!
I really love this rendering style for a comic page , the shading is pretty cool , it gives a nice ambiance and the sketchy lines makes it look more dynamic even when its kinda a calm moment ( not for loong because ... )

I've thought about that too, but yeah, a lot of the rewards don't make a lot of sense to me, I definitely don't want to spend my time doing that either... the one option I could think of would be monthly raffle or something, private livestreams or something but yeah, a lot of it just seems really counter-productive... and I also don't feel like I have a really large/loyal following either... tough life, man! Someday, though-!!

Private livestreams are a good idea! If I had a better computer I would like to try that... I did think of a few low-cost rewards that would be doable, like a monthly raffle for a free poster print of my art, and a digital download of my sketchbook and wips. :> Still, I don't have much of a following, but maybe when I get started on the comic, I might have more followers and I can use Patreon to maybe buy a website domain? Idk, I can still dream... xD we can both dream...! ;u; Maybe things will look better when you get started on your own comic! :'D

Perspective looks all right-ish to me~ (that last shot is ominous, like we're sharing the POV of someone hiding in the rafters...)
I feel like Sariel could be sharing more of the same Z-axis vanishing point as the wooden pillars, but she could just be leaning back a little.

Of course not everything needs perfect perspective, but like a lot of foundation it has to be learned before it can be stylized.
