Here we go, then-!! I'm giving this a shot, and hope you guys enjoy-! I've been working on Iris, on and off, for almost a year now, figured I might as well start posting, hahah-! (Also, I'm going to try and apply to Hiveworks, so I dunno if these pages will be able to stay up on dA if I get in, but, I'll cross that bridge when I get to it, hahaha~ xD)This is kind of a weird little inbetween page that I picture coming after the cover (which I haven't done yet, lol) and before the first page, so-! Anyway, this is still my first real attempt at this longform webcomic thing, there's sure to be changes/problems I'll have to fix and address as I go, but for now my main goal is simply to push ahead, so I hope you guys enjoy the trip-!

ooooo what a cool intro page! I like that it looks like a page from a natural history book, and just enough info to give some keywords about the story.
What does it mean exactly to apply to Hiveworks? A lot of my favorite webcomics have done it but I don't really know what it means other than some kind of advertisement? Will you need to post the pages to its own website if you get in?

Hiveworks is an online publisher, so they'll help set up your comic site and help attract people towards it via their network, it's stuff like that I guess? xD;

A-Ahhhhhh, no, that's my bad, I set it to a lower resolution to view haha, I guess I have a pretty low-res laptop monitor back home so it feels big enough to me on the screen, but it's true that on higher resolutions it can look kinda small? Maybe I should let it size up a lil? o:

I would put it bigger tbh, even if it looks weird on smaller screens, most people have full HD monitors these days. And a lot of people like looking at the details... or at least I do...
