Lil quick Thorfinn doodle, did this back when the trailer www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkJmBW… for Vinland Saga dropped, I'm sooooo excited for what WIT Studio will be doing with this incredible manga!! If y'all haven't read Vinland Saga yet then you should, it's just the most superb writing in any ongoing series to date imo~
I can't believe I'm drawing so much fanart this year, I never thought I'd get to see all my favorite obscure seinen manga adapted into anime/films, sob~

there was a lot of... interesting... imagery in that trailer, but I think my favorite was that small child burning someone's house down

Dude I'm serious though you should read this series it's so fucking good, the writing is SUPERB. There are only hardcover copies 'cuz the american release bundled 2 vols in 1... but 200% worth it. It's like one of my top ongoing series right now, and hands-down prob my favorite writer of all time.

Ahhhhhhhhh thank you so much for the super-kind comment, that's too flattering of you to say ahahahaha!! There is a criminal lack of fanart for Vinland Saga, it's so disappointing...
And I have high hopes for the anime-! I believe that CGI is a necessary part of making it more sustainable in the long run for the animation industry, and I support them using CGI for background/complex shots, the overall quality of the animation still looks terrific to me so I'm still very hopeful that WIT Studio will be able to do it justice-!
