Mm..it's both. But I once heard that art is about everyone's own individual interpretation of something. Not of getting everything perfect down to the very last detail. That's just replicating. if you want to be an artist, it's about creativity and passion. I still think that improving is a key element, and definitely something every strives for.

indeed, i think tht everyone can choose how to be individuals in the art community. x3 whenever i'm older, i want to be able to get as much correct anatomy as i can, but at the same time keeping the style i have, or how my style will change in the future, and be able to come up with creative ideas.
I'm passionate about art..and sometimes if i get something wrong then i'll get mad at myself.
