Sean put the box of paints next to a blank easel, noticing a paper resting against the canvas. Simply read, ‘Please paint a scenery of a beautiful autumn countryside.’

They turned to face each other, Sean brushed some hair away from her face before resting a hand on her cheek and running his thumb over her cheekbone. ___ turned her head to kiss his palm for a moment, then turning her eyes back to him. “We should clean up, then go eat dinner.”
