Description
Sean had his head on ___’s lap, replying to comments and doing some asks on Tumblr. She was reading on her phone while running her fingers through his green fluffy hair. ___ was the type of person that would be happy just to be near someone, she didn’t need words or even to be touching them, she just wanted to be in the same area as them. Sean had discovered this and loved it, she would just sit in the room listening to music and replying to people about the cafe while he recorded or edited. Normally just during edits because Sean felt weird with someone there while he recorded.

It had been about two weeks and 4 dates since their first date. Sean was done with comments and was getting tired. So he just looked up at ___ as she read, watching her smirk slightly at her book.
“Hey, want to go on a date later?” Sean asked, reaching up and poking her cheek.
“I have to go meet the plumber at the house in a few, but we can after if you want?”
“Are they finally getting to the house?”
“Yeah, I just want to get everything updated before I get Sam here. I just have the plumber then some carpet that needs to be replaced.” She sighed and put down her phone. Sean knew the past week had been stressing her out. There were some issues with the court and Sam. ___ got the house she wanted, but the plumbing was bad, flooring needed replacing and water damage needed to be fixed.
“I can come with you if you want. Talk to him for you.”
___ smiled down at him, leaned down and kissed his forehead. “That would be amazing of you.”
Sean wasn’t sure how to explain their relationship; they kissed sometimes and they held hands a lot. For some reason though, he didn’t feel like they were anything more. It all just seemed too comfortable. He was very happy to just be around her, though. Maybe it was because they only went on one real date. The rest had been just hanging out, playing videos games or watching movies, then eating in.
She was playing with his green hair, putting away her phone. “Whose place are we going to tonight?”
Sean sat up. “Let’s go on a real date, movie and dinner or something.”
“We can just go to a movie.”
“No,” he put an arm around her and pulled her a bit closer to him, “I want to take you out.” She wiggled a bit, being nervous and blushing a bit. “Why are you being all squirmy?” He laughed.
“I don’t know, just feel weird being out in public with you,” ___ mumbled.
“I understand, being in public with this loud dumbass is probably embarrassing.” Sean chuckled.
“No!” She laughed and bumped into him a bit.
“I just,” ___ sighed. “I still can’t understand why you like me. There are others out there.” She was mumbling again.
“Stop mumbling!” Sean attacked her with tickling and they wrestled a bit. Laughing and making weird noises the whole time. ___ ended up in Sean’s lap, wiping tears from her eyes from laughing so hard. “You’re so amazing! You’re giving. There’s a lot more, but I shouldn’t have to justify my emotions. I feel what I do and I can’t change that.” He shrugged and hugged her.
“Okay.” ___ hugged him back. “I’m glad you like me.”
“I am glad too.” Sean leaned down a bit, kissing ___. Sean slowly leaned into the kiss more, pulling ___ closer. Moving their lips in sync. Until she pulled away, completely flushed.
“Sorry.” ___ whispered as Sean leaned his forehead against hers.
“It’s okay, I told you we would go slow.” He smirked then pecked her lips. “We should probably get going to the house.”
“Yeah, we should.”

___ was wandering the house, looking at the improvements the contractor was doing for her. Sean was chatting with the plumber and giving him the list of things the city and contractor said needed to be fixed. ___ wandered to the extra little guest house in the back. Sean walked up behind her, hugging her from behind.
“Have you decided what to do with this place yet?”
“No, I really haven’t I just can’t decide. I may just leave it as guest house.”
“Is this your boyfriend?” The contractor walked up to them.
“Oh um. Hi.” ___ ignored the question. “Is everything alright?”
“There is a delay with some of the carpet but the double wall oven is done.”
“Well at least it’s half good news.” ___ sighed and Sean let go of ___.
“I just wanted to let you know. I’ll let you be alone with your lover.” He joked then walked as a blush spread on ___’s cheeks.
“Well that was a bit awkward.” ___ chuckled. “But at least the kitchen is done.”
“Why did you ignore his question?” Sean asked.
“What do you mean?”
“When he asked if I was you boyfriend. You didn’t answer.”
“I didn’t know how to answer. You haven’t asked me and we mainly just hang out and kiss sometimes.”
“Yeah I guess that’s true.” Sean stuffed his hands into his pockets.
“I think, we’re done here though. If you want to get going.”
“Yeah, let’s go.” They walked back to ___’s car to go to the movies.

While eating at the restaurant, they were a bit quiet. Sean seemed to be deep in thought, so the silence was a bit awkward. ___ decided to eat and try not to interrupt Sean’s thought.
“What do you want to do after this?”
“Well, I kind of wanted to go paint Sam’s room.”
“What’s wrong? Do you not want to be on a date?” Sean furrowed his brows together.
“You just seem like you’re deep in thought… We haven’t really even talked since we left the house.” ___ pushed some food around on her plate, avoiding Sean’s eyes.
“Hey, look at me.” ___ looked up slowly. Sean had a hand reached out across the table. She smirked at his sweet action and she took his hand. “I’m sorry, I was thinking. But I was thinking about you.” He winked at ___ and started smiling as she blushed a bit and looked away. “Are you done eating?”
“Yeah, I am.”
“Me too. Let’s go to a movie.” She nodded. They paid and headed to the movie theater.

Holding hands on the way, ___ bumped into Sean a bit to be playful. Sean stopped before they got to the theater.
“Why did you stop?” ___ stood in front of him.
“Will you be my girlfriend?”
“Um,” she looked down and up again. “Wait, what?”
Sean snickered and pulled her closer to him. “Will you be my girlfriend?”
“Are you sure?”
“I wouldn’t be asking, if I wasn’t sure.”
“Yes, I guess?”
“You guess?” He put his hand on her cheek.
“I want to be.”
“Then you are.” He kissed her then hugged her tightly. “I am sorry I didn’t talk much earlier. I was trying to decide when to ask you.”
“I thought you were annoyed.”
“Only with myself.” He smirked at her, then kissed her forehead.
“So, do you just want to go home and relax?”
“You know me so well!” Sean cheered and jumped around, making ___ laugh. They entwined their fingers while skipping a bit and laughing along the way. Once they calmed down a bit, ___ hugged Sean’s arm for a moment then stuffed her hands into her pockets because it was cold outside. They walked down the sidewalk, chatting about whatever came up.

When all of a sudden, ___ was pulled from Sean’s side. Her right hand was twisted behind her back. She yelped out in pain, causing Sean to spin around. He wasn’t one to get scared easily, but he definitely was afraid of someone hurting her.
“Give me your wallet or I’ll cut her.” A hooded Irish man was restraining ___ by her arm and a knife to her throat.
“Please let me go.” ___ whimpered, daunted by the man holding the cold blade to her neck.
“Once he gives me his wallet.” He pointed at Sean with the blade, removing it from her neck. Sean undertook the chance to grab the man's wrist, twisting his wrist until the knife drops. Sean swung his body, flexing his arm and securing his fist as it made contact with the thief's jaw. The robber stumbled back pulling on ___’s arm harshly, making her exclaim in strain. As he stumbled, he tripped backwards, knocking ___ out of his grasp. ___ had fallen on her arse because the impact of Sean hitting the man. The thief scrambled for the knife. Sean quickly kicked it away, the robber looked at him in fear.
“Git!” Sean yelled at him. The man stood up before lunging at Sean, taking him down by his torso. Sean grunted as he hit the ground, the thief sat up on Sean to set up a punch.
___ tackled the crook off of Sean before he could punch Sean. They wrestled for a moment before the pilferer forcly took her right wrist and bent it backwards and violently. She screamed out of pain.
The mugger ripped a dagger from his belt and went to slash at her.
Sean picked the thief by his shirt and shoved him against the building next to them, once again disarming the man. Slamming the thief against the wall, again, l before kneeing him in the stomach. Sean’s anger was boiling because the pain he put ___ in. Sean shoved the thief away, he ran away the best he could.
Sean kneeled down by ___ and helped her sit up, and helping her stand.
“Are you alright?”
She held her wrist tightly. “I think he broke my wrist.”
“Bastard.” Sean growled. “We should go get it checked out.”
Sean escorted her to the hospital. While they waited to be seen Sean kept his arm around ___’s shoulders. He wanted to protect her and she got hurt because he couldn’t do it. And he felt a little guilty about it, too.
The doctors took good care of ___. After x-rays and everything, they let her know that her wrist was in fact broken. So they put a cast on her and after the police report was filled, they were able to go home. They had also informed her that she needed to wear the cast for about six to eight weeks.
