Hmm have you ever read the scary stories series? It reminds me a lot of the illustrations by the artist in that series. Gotta eerie feel to it. Very impressive.

Well if you have the time you should look up the Scary Stories (Series) by Alvin Schwartz. I was addicted to those books as a kid and I found out recently that they were banned from a lot of libraries because the pictures were considered too morbid..

I usually don't like drawings of trees (always the same, a symbol of life, etc, etc) but your trees remind me a lot of what we've got here in the Gila wilderness. Nice.

because those reaching, leafless trees and the colors give you the feeling that something is very twisted, it feels like the laws of nature have been turned upside down, like if you're turning insane
