I guess my currant RS ref+info doesn't really catch people's eye sine its just one image, this is the one I'm talking about if you didn't know (fav.me/dbeser3 ) So I decided to make a complete ref sheet based off her new plushie. Also I apologize for spamming the description with links to her info.

I really like how this oc looks.

whoa this OC is nice but I'd like to give some constructive criticism to improve her!
1. I love the hair it's very pretty but I feel like the orange and yellow is too bright, it hurts my eyes a little and instead of being drawn to her face I'm drawn to her hair. I'd suggest toning the yellow and orange down a little so it's more soft.
2. The magic bothers me a little.. it's a bit too much rainbow on the character and is distracting, I'd suggest using her eye colour for her magic so it's less distracting.
3. I don't mind her being an alicorn and my main MLP OC is an alicorn so it be kinda hypocritical of me to say otherwise BUT I do have a problem with her being a crystal pony.. in the show it states they can be ONLY earth ponies (Cadence and shining armour were not born crystal ponies) and it makes her seem too special and a bit Mary sue-ish, please pick one or the other.
4. The colour's on the wing tips seem a bit too bright, the green and yellow don't go well with the pink.. maybe make them the same colours as the hair or change her coat colour to white.
That's all I really have to say about this OC. I hope you read this and maybe consider some of this to help her, I only want to help your OC be the best it can but she seems to OP and special at the moment

Though I can see some validity in *some* criticisms against this character, something about her still entrances me, and I can't help but love her! Very cute! I haven't seen many OC's able to make rainbow hair work so well!

Heya there Rainbow Splash! I love this OC and I would like to give some constructive criticism!
1: Bases, I know bases are easy but have you tried giving credit? I understand that some of these MAY be yours but I can tell some of them where just google searched
2: Colors, The colors are quite bright and you have ALOT of colors, If you are gonna be an Alicorn I suggest maybe making the colors alot less, Maybe just makeing the tip of each area of hair a diffrent color of the rainbow and making it look like you dipped your tail in a bit of paint, I would suggest 9 colors at max, also your colors are a bit neon so maybe make them a muted pastel.
3: Accessories: The wings are a bit extra but I love the idea of them! There quite cutre and I would keep up with that but the cutie mark maybe should feature a few of the colors already ON your pony.
4: Patterns: I suggest making the hair one solid color and making the color of your pony a bit different and change the pink to a muted pastel color.
Anyway I hope this helped and I would love to make fan art of this OC! Keep up the good work! :3

Um, like I've told many people, many of these vectors weren't made by me, and the ones that where didn't use bases. There are clear credits in the description of the piece. Overall I can't say much because I've heard it all before, but just know I can't really do much since I've already had the plushie made. sorry.

I love your character! I don't understand why everyone's so butthurt over it being rainbow or an alicorn. I personally think that the design is very appealing! I just hate to see how people demand a backstory change or call her a mary sue, when in reality they're wrong
