I guess my currant RS ref+info doesn't really catch people's eye sine its just one image, this is the one I'm talking about if you didn't know (fav.me/dbeser3 ) So I decided to make a complete ref sheet based off her new plushie. Also I apologize for spamming the description with links to her info.

Please stop making me re-designsMany people lately have been making me re-designs for my MLP oc Rainbow Splash, and i'd like them to stop. The reasoning for this is not that I’m unwilling to except criticism, but I’ve already have both a 3d model, flash puppet rig, numerous fan arts, and a plushie made of rainbow splash, and any redesigns would just go to waste, as well as the artist's time and effort. So I ask that people please, stop making them. I understand they come from a good place of heart, but in the long run it’ll just waste your, and my time. Plus, I find it slightly disrespectful for someone to completely redesign someone’s character without asking for their consent, however when it comes to review videos (that I’ve given permission for) it’s sorta a given, and I don’t mind as much in that instance. Like I said, I really do understand people just want to help, but I just can't afford changing her this far in. Plus (again) I'm quite pleased with her design, and if

Hi! I just came across this OC, and I wanted to give you some information,
First off, unicorns nor alicorns can't have rainbow magic, it has to be the color of their eyes or their cutie, second off, rainbow hair? it's a bit overused, yes, Rainbow Dash has rainbow hair, but atleast it's decent and yeah, now for the rainbow tips, why make it rainbow? you can just choose like a light purple or something, and now for the alicorn thing, does she have a reason to be an alicorn? like, she needs a reason to be an alicorn, like it's not like 'Rainbow was born being an alicorn because yeah', that isn't a good reason, make a good reason for her to be an alicorn.
That's all I gotta say, please think about this information and maybe improve her looks.

Magic colours match either eye colour or cutie mark colour. Twilight Sparkle's magic matches her cutie mark colour. Rarity's magic matches her cutie mark colour as well. Trixie's magic matches her eye colour, and so does Luna's.
Shining Armour's, and Cadence's magic match their cutie marks.

Not really. Her cutie mark nor her eyes are rainbow, plus it would only be one colour and not multiple. While I do think this OC is better designed than most rainbow-oriented characters, I think the rainbow magic is very sueish because it isn't possible canonically.

Okay, I've reread her bio. She was born with blue magic, so magic the same colour as her eyes but it was changed due to a magical event. While it's still a little out there, it's at least better than her just randomly having rainbow magic for no reason other than creator just insisting she does.

I do agree with that but making an OC for a fandom is about making sure it works in the world of said fandom. We've never seen anything that alludes to rainbow magic whatsoever. The tips of her wings, however, work as we've seen that Cadence has different coloured wing tips.
But these are all just my opinions and I could really care less what you do with your characters. I'm just a bit overanalytical and try to keep everything relatively normal to the fandom canon laws, even if my characters are extra as hell.
But another thing I should mention, if Rainbow Splash is apart of an au where rainbow magic is a thing, that'd be a different story. I remember I read her bio a year or two back so I don't remember all the details but I'm pretty sure she was apart of the canon MLP verse. Maybe I'm wrong, I'll have to go back and read it.

That may have been a pattern you noticed, but that is not a stated fact within the show, and until it is, this is a total possibility. Its kinda clear you didn't read her backstory or information, because I do sort of give reasoning, plus I say that Rainbow is no the original color of her magic, but i''ll leave you to read her info and figure that out for yourself.

I've started a little challenge for myself where I take OCs of a few other people, and try to make them a little better (in my opinion.) This OC isn't bad, in fact, I think they're pretty good! I have an Alicorn oc but i have a good reason for it.. ((not gonna type all that shit in here))
I can tell why people are calling your oc a marysue, The bubbly colors , Wings and horn , rainbow magic..
It seems like one of those basic marysue ocs.. ((No offense!! :0 ))
But YOUR oc is adorable.
I think the rainbow magic is quite extreme, but it's interesting!
