final project for my watercolor class. the self-portrait is crosshatched pen and the abstraction is watercolors. itβs a representation of the disconnect i feel between myself and others due to social anxiety disorder, and also the disconnect between my brain and my mouth when i speak (aka the feeling of speaking without thinking and feeling anxiety because of that)

I would love to have seen some of the self portrait illustration also in the watercolor. A disconnect yes, but the "disconnected" is still you and some relationship could be evident. Great spark and idea. Kudos. As a pen and ink fan I am digging the values you pulled off in your cross hatching in the pants and shirt. Very nice!
