I LOVE how your work look like. It's sth. like a mermaid with a sea horse, but it isn't...

Colored pencils and blenders with a high floss fixative! The art work is in memory of an officer I worked with the committed suicide. He took a shot gun to his own head and my co workers found him in the lot. I chose a sea horse because they are maternal and he lived his children. It's off balance on purpose because suicide is off balance. We all miss him very much and it took me a year before I could draw it.

Okay, you have NOT named this awesome creation and you have apparently moved on to another project; so, I can only assume that this Lady is 'done,' so to speak,.....hmmmmm.....Well, I must say, my Friend, that this is a Magical creature and the color tones are beautiful and the image is quite symbolic (to me). There is a strong connection with the Earth and Creature-hood....A connection with All That Is and a flow of empathy, compassion and a movement of healing that could only come from the Mother. As always, BEAUTIFUL WORK my Friend.
