Description
The summer of 2015 featured low flow at most waterfalls in Washington due to the minimal snow pack from an unusually warm winter in the Pacific Northwest. That meant it was a little easier to scramble around most creek beds to play with foreground compositions, which we definitely did on this warm day in July. This was my first visit to Lazy Bear Falls, but after this winter's plentiful snowfall, I'd like to go back and see what it looks like with more water.Related content

This is beautiful. As if I didn't miss summer enough, already!
So - your first winter here is similar to mine: record-breaking rainfall. How are you holding up?

It was rough, not going to lie. I have been advised to take a vitamin D supplement next winter and hope for the best. I was genuinely shocked at how down I felt all winter!

It's not a bad idea to have your doctor check your Vitamin D. I find that staring into the photocopy machine helps, too. lol.

Haha! If our copy machines weren't broken all the time, I'd totally take your suggestion.

I love that you can see how warm it is and the glints of sunlight in the fine water details.
