Description
The only walls that exist are those we construct around ourselves.You could break them if you only tried.
But you stand there afraid to leave and afraid to stay.

This shot was inspired by the Trapt song "These Walls"
I was trying to convey the feeling of being trapped; trapped by your own perceptions, fears, trapped behind something you could easy break through, like water
I froze for this shot, the water temp was about...umm... FREEZING! -__- the high that day was 50 degrees F
The process was, set the timer on my camera - jump under the water - count to twenty-click!- jump out and cuss till the shock wore off - repeat
Summer cannot come soon enough!

It had rained the night before so the lake was draining into the tunnel I was standing in, creating this huge sheet of of water.

I love the concept to go along with the photograph. Sometimes it can be the simplest things that hold us back so profoundly.
(And believe me, I empathize with standing in freezing water for a shot! Brr!)
