-Hormonal control-
Heike has the control to modify and increase the hormones state of his body. This gives him the opportunity to make of his body a female one or a male one whenever he wishes to. It also grants him the ability to create a natural scent from these hormones that affects people behaviour around him. (Only the primal behaviour can be affected such as: fear, agressivity, lust.)
*The gender change does not affect the general body structure such as height, corpulence, dead tissues (hairs, nails, finger prints), muscles and such.

Strong Points:
-As a spy or assassin, changing his appearance or gender is a very great talent.
-Can manipulate or amplifies the weak minded foes behaviour very easily. (Amplify a strong emotion or sentiment is also very easy for him to do)
-Can affect more than one foe at the time.

Weak points:
-In order to remain one or the other gender, it takes some concentration and fuel permanently. Only his true from can stop the vital energy to be consumed.
-His scent do not affect all the foes or allies equally. It is a guess almost at each new encounter. By example, a foe in -berserk- mode, will probably not be affected by a pheromone scent. A man and a woman will also be affected differently; one will feel rivalry, since the other one will feel attraction.
-It takes a lot of concentration to affect only ONE foe at the time. Usually, his -scent- will be directed randomly into the air.

Heike usually is a calm fellow. He enjoys silence and is quite solitary. He prefers to be an observer than taking part of events such as festivities. He enjoys being with one person at the time, friend or foe. Since he is a coward, lies and flatteries are often used to dodge harsh conversations or fights that disadvantage him. If in a bad mood, he'll be distant and will also show grumpiness toward annoying people. If in a good mood, he will search one person for enjoyment, gambling or playing board games. If relaxed, he will remain there, observing and trying to figure out the best ways to manipulate or dominate of the people around him. He is not a very faithful companion. He could prefer to run away than help an ally if the situation is not at his advantage. Heike respects the higher ranks, but if he finds a way to -destroy- them, he will.
Female or male, he has the same behaviour, but, will be differently affected by the pheromones of the other genders around him.

Alone: He usually is sent for discreet missions. Assassinations, robbery, spying are his fields of expertise. Making people fall into his traps are what he likes the most. Oh, he is not such a good seducer (friendly or sexually)... but with his ability, everything is possible on that matter.

In group: Heike is there as a supporter. -___- Not the way a cheerleader is. Supporter means that he will use his ability to help his friends on the battlefield by manipulating/affecting/amplifying the emotional state of a/few foes or an/few allies.

Heike was born in a very poor state of Germany as the third child and first son of a noble family. The house doctor noted a small abnormality around the genital area, but he had said that, with a mere surgery, this little flaw could easily be forgotten. The mother disagreed with the intervention, scared to lose the life of his son. ''His life is not in danger, I will not accept to take an useless risk.'' The father was blinded by the happiness to finally have a son and accepted her request.

Heike was a beautiful son whipped by a luck other children around him could not even imagine to experience one day. He was strong, healthy... he was a fast learner and also had a steady personality. For a child, he certainly was very mature... still he had no choice to be. Since he was the favourite, no time to play with his siblings, no time to discover the world with his own eyes, always chained with adults and teachers. It was decided that he would be the future heir of the manor. His family expected so much from a so small child... and Heike, only was most happy to be the one... the one to please them the most. But while the family was living well, others around them were dying of hunger, creating a very nasty atmosphere around Heike, turning him in someone high and mighty as much as a coward. Hopefully, Cullen, his history teacher and also a visionary, was slowly, but surely, turning his student into a fair noble, trying to encrust solidarity values into his minds. Maybe was it only a way to manipulate the poor child for a purpose the old man was idolizing. But it only was for the best, right?

1734, Germany
As any stories, luck always as an end. At age of 14, Heike started to change. Oh, not into minds, but physically. He was slowly feeling more irritable than the usual, having strong headaches and pitiless cramps into the lower part of his tummy. When the house doctor examined him, he was so afraid to reveal the truth... to break this poor family in half. But it was his duty to explain the situation. Heike, was having his first menstruation. Sounds funny, right? But it was not. His body was slowly turning into something monstrous to the eyes of his father, siblings and friends of the family. Heike was not male. Heike was not female. He was both. What a shock for a father who had put all his money, all his hope into the boy who was suppose to take the heir, have a family and pursue the linage... all this was now meanless, tasteless for him.

If Heike did not already had, as a teenager, to accept the fact he was different, the pressure was raging on him. His father, desperate, was trying to convince him to take the surgery. Remove the ovaries, sew the entrance and make sure the breast can't be visible. But now that he was older, this surgery was dangerous, a grand risk. And medicine always was a guess at this era. Heike was way too fearful to accept this. So he did not. After a while, his father asked to the family doctor to drug his -son- and perform the surgery without his agreement. But the boy had the time to flee... what a drama can it be for a child to know its parents think that he is nothing more than a failure.
What had happened after this, could be resumed by few words. Treason. Escape. Cowardice.

The Heike of yesterday was dead. He was a beggar like any other, with a sad expression stuck on his face. Only few months and his body had completely changed. He was as much as female as male. His minds were a total mess. But he was way more concerned by his own mercy than what he had lost because of it. He had been raised as a man, still, he felt like woman. He was built and tall like a male, still had a breast and menstruations like a female. All day long, Heike was doing nothing more than flipping endlessly his last coin between his fingers. Head, you are a man. Tail, you are a woman. He was a coward, and the coin never was launched.

If the -why me- question was always roaming into his minds, he had the answer quite fast. About to be killed by merciless guards cleaning the roads from the beggars, Heike found the strange ability to... control these men. No. Not controlling them, it was more like if his own body where making their behaviour drastically change. And during this cold night, his body changed into a woman. It did not lasted. But this new revelation certainly would not make him remain a beggar all his life. No, he was clever, and he knew he merited more than his current life.

1738, England
The Mantis was well known into London. A name given to an unknown person able to capture men as much as women into its traps. By the time, Heike learned to control this strange... ability. The one to turn himself into male or female, as such as using its own hormones scent to lure them, make them act strangely or aggressively. He promised himself to NEVER show his real misshapen body to anyone...

Heike was working for a faction, but he knew he would have the entire control of it, soon or later. Foolish young man, he was. The day he decided to take over, was the day of his doom. Taken by the imperial guards, he had been imprisoned, ready to be hanged the next day. His vanity backstabbed him and his failure made him return from his imaginary little world. Into his cell, a woman was there, ready to be hanged too. They called her a witch, but he knew she only was different like he was... But he certainly was not in the mood to fraternize. Playing with his coin, flipping it into the air endlessly... blankly. The old woman, frozen by this December cold night, spoke to him.
''Why are you playing with that coin?'' she had asked.
''Because I am a coward.'' was his answer.
''You are a coward because you can't chose... or because you leave your destiny into the hands of luck.''

It made him rose his gaze toward her. She smiled to him.
''I am old. I am tired.'' She mumbled. ''This fate scares me. Being hanged in front of my whole family. Take my life away, and I will give you a second chance... a chance to chose your fate. You are not ready to die.''
And so, the man killed the old lady the way she had asked. In exchange, she locked his soul into the coin Heike was keeping as a symbol of his cowardice.

Today, USA
The coin was forgotten, carted from country to country... until it lands, by luck or by fate, into the hands of an antiquity collector in America. While being polished, it slipped from the hands of the man, rolling onto the ground until it stops into a crack of the floor. Neither head, neither tail. The coin was launched and has landed in between, breaking the charm of the old lady. Heike came back to life.
