Description
A few doodles and sketches of British uniforms from the 1820s to the early 1840's, i was going to do some sketches on the Anglo-Chinese war which is more commonly know as the First Opium war (1839-1842) but i decided to instead to save that for a later date.
So next to the main sketch we have some more British uniform doodles ranging from The Uniform of Royal Coastal Artillerymen from the 1820's-1830's, in the middle is a pair of doodles Inspired by a painting by John Hayes of the 71st Highlander Fusiliers (which i will link to here artuk.org/discover/artworks/71… ) i originally found it whilst searching for Irish regimental uniforms but only realised they were highlanders whilst typing this.
and finally below the main doodles is an Indian Sepoy and a colonial uniforms from the 1840's
