A Brief Primer Post for Factions within the Divided Stars Setting; This one focuses on the Kelran Exiles:

Descended from a Militant Political Faction from Kelran Founding Wars (2606AD-2612AD).
The Exiles are a dangerous collective that have waged a long bitter guerrilla war on the Kelran Republic for the past 300 years.

Operating entirely in Mobile Fleets, the Exiles have no known capital, colonies or permanent bases in the known spiral arm, Though it’s generally accepted that the bulk of there forces may reside somewhere deep within the sparse, starless Void of the Orion Divide!

Dispite their seaming small numbers the Exiles are a dangerous player in the Orion Arm, as it was there meddling and pillaging of Imperial Union Territories in the 2940’s which lead to the mis-guided Imperial Invasion of the kelran Republic; kicking off the Imperial Contact War (2954AD-2960AD)
