Description This is a sample of a Textualis script extracted from Codex 150 of the Dome bibliotheque in Cologne, Germany.

The book is a manuscript and shows a good example of German pre-Fraktur era broken scripts...
Lombards (not shown here) are usually typical Lombardic style; maiusculi not collected yet.

EDIT: Thanks to comment from bluesbrothers, the word sacerdo? has to be interpreted as "sacerdos", not "sacerdotis" ! bluesbrothers, you're completely right, thank you for the hint!

Yes, this is "et" but not "sacerdotis"
this is "sacerdos"

Hello there, It seems I am not the only one interested in gothic handwriting,... I enjoy writing this way and exchanging ideas...I am new at this deviantart thing , but I intend to put some interesting things soon (gothic)on my page... Check it out later on if you like....

Later, I want to post more different script types. This is the first one i brought into order (this is a photoshop collage from letters of an old manuscript), and I hope there will be many (not only Gothic types, i hope for some Bastarda to come, too) more.
