it is weird to complain about the price of something that is only 7$ when some people sell bases for up to 50$, yes.
my friends encouraged me to do this because i had been meaning to since i first made it but i am a lazy piece of shit, and after you complained, they suggested i should just add the layers to avoid people saying things like you did.
you implied i was intimidated by you referencing my base and selling it for 2$, i was telling you this was untrue and that you dont intimidate me.
you did not tell me directly, but you implied my art wasn't worth it without those layers. that is implying i need to change it.
then again, i wasnt adding the layers only because you told me to, again, i was going to do it anyways and you just reminded me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

you did imply my art wasnt worth 7$, that was the whole basis of 'this is too expensive' that means 'this isnt worth 7$'
yeah, its a waitress base and a lot of people buy it, its a huge furry base like the ones i make

i am willing to take my base down or at least make it free/almost, and or give credit for you inspiring me to create my own and as a reference. that was also wrong of me to do, not saying i was inspired/referenced. I won't do something like this in the future, i will try my absolute best to not to.

and honestly, $7 for a quality base is not expensive, you're just cheap :/

A lot of good quality bases are sold underpriced, but that doesn't make it okay or less ignorant for you to go up to an artist and say it's expensive when it's honestly pretty cheap. It shows how little you know about actual value of an artist's work.
And you literally copied what they did. It's almost like...that's different than doing your own thing. You even tried to mimic a lot of the things Lullaby did? Being inspired is far different than literally mimicking something. You tried to mimic the body style down to the eyes. It's very apparent. Yours just doesn't have the same line quality as his.
And if you're talking about my "mlp bases", I have two which are free and are wolves??? so not sure what you're getting at. If you mean Lullaby's, a lot of his are hand-drawn in his style, or he made bases based off screenshots of the show so others could use them. They are literally free.

I'm sorry but how are they a rip-off? Did I comment on someone's art, then proceed to mimic it? No. I made something that doesn't exist in the show so others could make wolves if they wanted to. It's not the same at all as taking someone else's work and making your own version of it, trying to sell off a lower quality version because you didn't like the price of theirs.
