I call this particular one Tairo. IDK I had to think about this one a lot and I got attatched.

Personality:
Strong-willed, easily angered, adventurous, and likes to fight.

This character was created from the parts of these creatures:
- Dragon whiskers and tail
- Bat wings
- Coyote head
- Wolf body
- Hyena ears

I call this creature an Ore Hound (Dragon Wolf, or Glider Dog)

Fictional Species Information:

Habitat and Ore Hounds are found in a small secluded valley near an active volcano located on a small island in the Pacific Ocean.

Physiology-They have evolved a colorful coat which matches perfectly with the abundant ores that can be found exposed in the jagged cliffs. Their eyes and whiskers are specially designed to catch the movements of prey, even at night or when the sky is black with ash. Their thick tail allows for balance when navigating sharp cliffs. Their bat-like wings do not allow for flight - they can however, be used to briefly glide from one side of their valley to another.

Behavior - Males are highly territorial and are solitary. They are more colorful and have larger features and are usually found on higher parts of the valley. Females live in large groups and only separate during mating season - they can be found near the lower parts of the valley in order to easily attain more food for themselves and young. If captured while young they can become tolerant of humans or even develop a bond.

Intelligence - Unlike other can-ids they have self-preception and are thought to have the intelligence of an ape. They can learn rapidly and are thought to communicate in their own language. This is a curiosity since most intelligent creatures live in large co-ed groups.

Other - They have evolved a way to utilize the toxic smoke they are constantly exposed to as a defensive mechanism. They can store large amounts of smoke and ash in their dense fur and then use their large tail to beat and brush it out when faced with a larger predator. If it makes contact with eyes or throat it is extremely irritating and can cause deadly inflammation.
