Alright, so here is how far I've come. I thought to make it into a "series" where you'd see all of the images at once, but thought this was more funAnyways, here you see how the sketches changed from one to another as I worked on them. I am also considering changing his left (your right) wing into a perspective as I had in mind from the start. But we'll see how it goes and how it turns out in the end XD

My advice is that you look up as many dragon-artists as possible. Neondragon have always been a great help for me. I have two of her how-to-draw-dragons books which are really helpful. But also ~Skysealer , =Mythka , *LhuneArt and ~Nambroth are really great for inspiration and ideas!
Then I suggest that you do "studies" and try drawing some of your own, even if they are only sketches. Then you could always work more on the ones you like the best ^^
