Спасибо Просто у меня осталось чувство, что я не выразила того, что хотела и что могу. Как и в случае со Скрэтчем (удавшееся лицо Алана не в счет, для меня это РАЗНЫЕ лица)

Thank you very much And as for her hair, I made it partly blurry like some other areas of the picture just to make her eyes to catch your attention first

Thank you very much. I paint in one layer to keep the feeling like a traditional drawing.
As for you, your works are very lovely SAI or not, practice is our EVERYTHING. Trust me, I'm a self-taught artist.

One layer, that is amazing. And you're self-taught Any advice about where to start looking on the net to do this kind of digital art?

The best way to learn is practice. You have a lot of wonderful stocks. Take one of them, run a programm kinds SAI Paint Tool (it's very simple and comfortable for drawing) and just start. First of all - outlines, try to draw them as good as possibly. Then color. Well, it's better to start from b/w pics to understand the basics of lights and shadows. And after all colorful pictures. I don't feel color as good as I'd like to But I'm on my way. And I don't know how to use tutorials... I prefer my own way. But there's a lot of them to help you.
Almost forgot: you'd better use a tablet from the very start. It'll help a lot!

It's really small and simple after PhotoShop You just have a clean sheet, some tools and layers. Try them with default settings, you'll see how it works
