I don't think it would so long as it covers just your iris and not the whole eye, kinda like this: [link] only with the red and white lollipop swirl. The roulette padlock on the other hand might look crazy but I bet you could do both and have them look as awesome as the moth

My computer died on me, hardware failure of some kind but we couldn't pinpoint exactly what went bad. Luckily, I have a new one now, it works (for the most part) and is like 1000 times better than the old one.

I see. Kind of this happened to my PC last year. Though it hasn't died. I decided to not to wait for it and changed everything inside. Except CPU. Thank God, seems to be ok now.

You were a bit lucky then. I think our motherboard might have been what went bad. We replaced the motherboard and then found out the other stuff we had wasn't compatible with it so we had to order a new CPU, video card, and memory as well. That ran us up to about a thousand bucks. But then, we found this new bare-bones kit it's called, which comes assembled except we had to get a video card for it. We put in our old hard drives and managed to get it working, except that the hard drives are kind of mixed up, like it thinks D is E and G is K and such, but at least it's usable. The kit was like $1300 I think, but we were refunded after we returned the other stuff, so really we only spent 300 more bucks than when we got the separate parts, only this new PC is like a thousand times better than the old PC would have been with those new parts since they aren't as good as what we have now, so it'll pay for itself I think. And on the bright side, I learned a bit about how to wire a computer and stuff. This one's GREAT for games though, I love it ! It runs all the latest games with no lag whatsoever, it's got amazing graphics that I can completely max out and for some reason games look really 3D, and hopefully, it will run the new games yet to be made as well.

Ah, I see! So, you're lucky too To tell the truth, I've bought my previous pc while waiting for Alan Wake part by part. It was very powerful. But when things went wrong even watching movies became a problem and it was a real pain in my ass, 'cos I couldn't work as well! But after AW was released I had to buy an XBOX (and very glad with it) and forgot about my pc for awhile. But I still need it for work. And what do you think? I gave the old (actually not that old
) motherboard with some parts to my parents 'cos their pc worked even worse. And it feels good now! They have no problems! What a mystery!
But my new motherboard is for gamers and oveclockers (yeah, pretty old but top one - Maximus Extreme) and it works PERFECTLY. So, I'll be able to play any new games too

Oh, let me guess why Alan Wake interests you It wouldn't have anything to do with a certain band would it? Actually, I've watched videos of it and it does look good lol. Yeah, after my pc either dies and/or becomes completely obsolete, it's ps3 time for me haha. Wow, that is strange. I'm surprised that worked, but it is good news! Oh yeah, mine's totally overclocked. It builds so much heat it's got like three or four fans, vents all over the thing AND a self-maintained liquid cooling system. And even with all of that, it doesn't get NEARLY as hot as my laptop when it's really being tested. My laptop, when I'm just surfing the web and stuff, it's fine, but after playing those high-end games for a while, it gets so hot you could cook an egg on the thing, and I am not exaggerating. And ironically, one of the things you should NOT do with a laptop is keep it on your lap. Nice. It is a pain in the ass to keep having to fix a computer, update this, rewire that, but are the graphics and sound not like 100 times better than other consoles once you do? What would really be awesome is if they came out with a new gaming medium entirely, like real-time virtual reality where you have full control over your character and stuff... Like the Matrix, except without the whole 'if you die in the game you die in real life' thing, lol. That kind of tech might even exist today. Guess it's just a matter of time

I had certain interest not just because of some amazing band )))) Partly because of it for sure. But I knew it'd be a wonderful game from Remedy. So, it is. But I'd never play anything in the way you're talking about. I mean virtual reality ))) You cannot imagine how scared I was playng Alan Wake for the 1st time when gamepad vibrated in my hands. I didn't know it could vibrate at all!!! And it happened because of a Taken
Yep, my PC is supposed to get very hot even while working. But thank God, I've bought a very cool cooling system!

Ah, I've never played it. Oh yeah, controller vibration is kind of scary if you're not expecting it hehe! The cooling system is working great. I was playing Bioshock 2, which I just bought (thru Steam on sale for 5 bucks ) and Mafia 2. They're both pretty taxing games and it's like the computer doesn't even break a sweat. My old computer wouldn't even run them and the new games it did run lagged like hell. Now they run smoother than butter

Aah... Bioshock2 must be a great stuff! I havn't finished the 1st part though. I want to play it on XBOX but there's something wrong with the disk. Didn't play anything on PC for ages and don't want to. But I miss Alan Wake sooo much! I wish I could forget everything and play like the very first time!

By the 1st part do you mean Bioshock 1? I beat it a while back. The end depends on how you treat the little sisters, but that's all I'll say so I don't ruin it . Bioshock 2 is a LOT like 1 except you are a big daddy, so it's a bit more awesome
In fact, you are THE big daddy, the first. I also saw the trailer for the upcoming Bioshock Infinite. I don't know though... it's not in Rapture, but a floating city in the sky, Columbia. I'm not sure I like it. I mean, Bioshock IS Rapture. But I love how they do the trailers for the Bioshock games in 1st person like you're the character, it's almost scary. Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. Some games are so great you wish you could go back and play it for the first time but without knowing anything. It kind of sucks to play through a game knowing where every enemy is going to appear, what plot events are going to happen or memorizing the dialogue.

Yep, the 1st part of it. I know much about the plot but I want to FEEL the game. Still no chance, sadly.
And I'm glad you got me. Some games are really so great you wish to forget everything and enjoy! Now I'm trying to discover something new in Fallout 3. Looks amazing on big screen. I mean the XBOX version

Ah, you got FO3? Haha, as soon as I saw the pipboy and the 50's clothing and music, I was all, oh no, another bioshock. Different game apparently lol. Yeah, I watched my friend play New Vegas on his 360. He has a good tv, but does he have an 82"? I don't think so, haha. That, dolby 5.1 and a ps3 and I can die a happy man.

))))))))) FO3 & Bioshock have a lot in common for sure. I love old FO games and this one too. 82"??? OMG, it's kill me! I have 37" and that's surely enough And 5.1 really rules... aww, thinking of it makes me miss Alan Wake again. This game has incredibly good sound.

I've only played FO3. The first 2 aren't my style though. The Bioshock 2 good-guy ending disappointed me... Now I'll have to go back and play through it as an evil bastard to see if that ending is any better lol. The 82 is neat except that I still have to get the speakers all hooked up to get 5.1 working, 'cause right now it's just using the tv's built in speakers. Does it? It's not too expensive I hope? Shame, looks like it's not on steam. I was hoping for a sale

Aww... they're brilliant. While the 3d is a very beautiful and interesting but different game. It gives you different feeling and experience. Ah, Bioshock 2 endings... don't tease me Though it made me to remember about good old Silent Hill endings... If you want to have a realy good sound system, you'd better save some money up. Well, actually it'd be perfect to buy it on sale and save even more!

UncleHappy5 In reply to LanaVdV [2011-04-28 06:21:39 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, I just don't like isometric games, and I just plain hate strategy games. I like games based on your actual skill, your ability to click a mouse or controller and move dodge and attack and such. I don't mean to, I just didn't care for the ending I got as a good guy. It seems every game I've played with several endings has a much better, and more interesting one if you play as an evil bastard than a do-gooder. Silent Hill 3 and 4 are the only ones I've played. 4 had 4 or 5 endings I think and the worst one was the most interesting to watch while the good ending was just boring and short. Well, I've got 5.1 both in my home office for the computer and in the living quarters for the 82". It's just that neither are hooked up properly yet, but once they are... Plus, I can hook up my synthesizer to the sound system too. When I hit the low notes, the whole room shakes I love it.

Ah, I see Well, in strategies you have use your brain skills.
Huh, I've played SH 1, 2, 3 and 5. Finished 1&2 only. And in the 2nd game had different endings. One of them was even funny.
Your room shakes? OMG What a sound system you have! Must be great enjoyng it's quality

I guess. I'm big on immersion. My personal favorite type of game would be a wide, open one with near infinite places to explore, tons of missions/quests, character customization and real time combat based on your actual skills, not a little army, or worse... taking turns *shudders*. And you can still plan this kind of game out, what weapons to use, how to make your approach and such. 4 was very unlike the other ones. I love the Silent Hill soundtrack. Akira Yamoaka is the man You should listen to his solo albums, it's like being punched in the face with a fistful of awesomeness. Yeah, but I have to be careful, cuz I honestly think if I did it too loud it would actually crack the foundation of the house, no joke. And that's without a subwoofer... I love the way it sounds, but to get the full effect, you'd have to be in the center of the family room, which I can't be when I'm playing it. The keyboard is too big and heavy to move back and forth when ever I want to play it, so it's kept off to the side.

I like this kind of games too. But usually they're shooters I respect but actually don't love. Gothic 1&2 were (and are) wonderful RPG games. Again, TES series. My beloved Witcher (can't wait for the 17th of May). Not many weapons, maybe. But there's always something special in these worlds that makes you to come back over and over again. Ah, Mass Effect, btw. I don't know how my ideal game must look like since I love infinite places and tons of quests too etc. But there's always a fly in your cup of honey if you ask me.
Yep, I know about Akira Yamaoka, he's genious! Oh wow! Luckily, I don't have my own house yet. Such a temptation to buy a good sound system too! ))))))))))

TES series has got to be one of my absolute favs I get bored of other games after a while, but I keep coming back to TES games. I've only played the demo of the first Witcher, it was okay. Mass Effect 1 had a great storyline, 2 had awesome graphics and I liked the way the gameplay felt better, but the storyline kinda sucked if you ask me. It would be REALLY awesome if they made a game that combines the openness and customization of The Elder Scrolls with the character personality of Mass Effect. He is indeed. I listened to every song on the Futurelist album
Although is it just me or do a lot of the songs in the Silent Hill soundtracks sound like they belong in a porno?... Yea, I'll have to hook it up again sometime.

Absolutely the same feeling about games. And hey, you should try the Witcher!
I don't know if you're aware of the original novels - they're awesome. And the game (one of it's strongest parts) has the original atmosphere. Even without add-ons it was cool. I wish they made it for XBOX as well
Well, but there's the 17th of May to wait for, so I do
And TES V will be released soon. Just a holiday, if you ask me!
Oh, yes! Have you noticed it too? SH OST really sounds sexy. It's magic!

I might, but I'm in no hurry. I'd rather wait for it to have a 50%-off sale on steam or something like I usually do. After all, I've paid less then ten USD for games that are a thousand times better than games they charge you sixty for, and they tend to disappoint me afterwards. Yeah! I don't care how much TES is tho, it's a given it's going to be amazing, so I've got to get it as soon as it's out
Nov. 11th, so yeah just in time for the holidays. Yeah LOL, I swear if you close your eyes while listening to it you can easily picture sexy dancing, no joke
I mean just listen:
