Description Heheheh. When I changed my avatar to Cap'n Marvel Jr., I seriously considered using this one instead! A great shot of Calvin from Calvin & Hobbes that would make a fine avatar. From this comic:

*Panel 1. Calvin is listening to the Radio*
Radio: You're listening to Boomer 102, Classic Rock! Where we promise not to expose you to anything you haven't heard a million times before.
*Panel 2. Calvin is staring at the radio*
Radio: We'll be back to more hits from those high school days when your world stopped but first....
*Panel 3. Calvin is walking by his father, wearing the expression from the avatar*
Calvin's Dad: What is that look supposed to mean?

Got some avatars of Supernova that I cropped out of 52. Might upload those later.... Haven't even finished sketching the last division of the pagent. Three more contestants need to be done...

And of course progress is slow because I can only do it during the brief periods when I'm not reading Potter....

Awsome indeed. With two older sisters who picked on me all through my childhood (and still do today), I support G.R.O.S.S entirely.

That's a real neat avatar. It's more like you and the art you're expressing. I say go for it. ^ ^

Thats a great calvin expression. You can see his disgust for what is on the radio.

Yup! It's like a mixture of pity and disgust and inability to understand. ^^

Neat. Never had any real exposure to Calvin & Hobbs (though I love the Robot Chicken sketch based on it), but I think I would've prefered this'un as your avatar. It's just kinda hard to make the cute things connection with whatcha have, ya know?

GAH! While I really like Robot Chicken (espicially the Star Wars special and their portrayal of Professor X in that X-Men sketch), that Calvin & Hobbes thing stabbed my childhood with a big rusty knife! I mean, yes, Calvin's imagination was really overactive, but still...

Bill Watterson, the maker of the strip, said that Hobbes isn't a figment of Calvin's imagination (In many storylines, the effects of Hobbes's actions can be seen by Calvin's parents, although they don't attribute them to him), but he also isn't a stuffed toy that comes to life only for Calvin. Watterson says he goes out of his way to avoid the issue.

There are collection books at most big bookstores. I've got practically all of them.... Take a look at one of the later ones if you can, the strip got better as it went along...

Heh. I'd feel weird changing Avatars so fast after the other after having that Naota one for so long... But I have been considering that one of Supernova.

On chapter twenty-eight, and it is good. Hits a slump at one point, and is very different in feel then the other six, but there's certainly no disappointment. It makes you realize how close Ron, Hermione, and Harry are. Very sweet. ^^
