So here it is. That image I probably raised people's expectations too much over.I was very impressed with myself about this one, because for the first time in a long time I felt like I was in control of the brush. I didn't struggle to paint or blend or anything. Things just worked, and I think this is better than all my other stuff in regards to execution, realism, and technicality. That stuff really matters to me because when I can do something well, it doesn't feel like I'm just some twit smearing digital paint around and seeing what results they get. I actually feel like I know what I'm doing.

Stunning. Again... it's the eyes that capture my attention. They are so well accented by her earrings, and the whiteness of her shirt. Her face is beautiful, in that classic beauty you just don't see anymore. You paint some absolutely lovely work.

And again, thank you for your well thought out comment! Do you know, I only added the earring as an afterthought? So many people have commented on it, that I'm glad I threw it in there. I think this is my best work, and it's really tough emulating it.

Thank you very much. I think this is my best work to date, and it's hard to produce work to the same standard. I feel like this one was a "fluke" and that I'll never be able to get the same quality in my work in the future.

Obviously, this is my favorite piece of work on all of DA. I love it so much and I can't believe anyone thinks I'm cool enough to paint something this awesome for my RP character! You are so amazing! First off: Arixus <3, love love love the character, never got to know the player behind her very well, but I'm sure she's lovely toooo~
Secondly: This image <3. Unnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnf. As you know, I normally try to give some kind of constructive criticism where I talk about what looks good in detail and what looks a little off... but I've got nothing... I can't pick out anything you did particularly well because the entire thing is amazing. This image is beautiful, completely and totally. I love everything about it.

This is an excellent piece that shows how far you've come in digital painting. The little details are what really shine when I look at this piece: the tasteful earring, the kind of whimsical poet sleeve, and even the seaming of her shirt. Everything looks highly realistic. Everything. Her hand, her eyes, her ear. Things I that I know were weak points for you before are no longer weak points.
Until you get to the waist of her pants/skirt, and honestly the only reason I noticed it was because the signature caught my eye. I'm not trying to attack or be horrible about this wonderful piece of art: it is wonderful. I'm just pointing out something that I need to remind myself quite a bit as well: Even the little details on the outskirts of the painting need to be the best I can make them. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with her pants/skirt. I'm only pointing out that it doesn't have quite the same realism as the rest of the piece. The colors you chose for it are really good and blend in well. I think what's standing out to me is the thin line of the seam. Somehow it seems drawn rather than painted, if that makes sense? Anyway, I hope that came across as constructive and not simply negative thoughts: I mean it as constructive criticism.
Overall: Beautiful piece.
