This is kind of similar to an idea I have. Β Basically, it's that there's this stone that, when called upon correctly, can make any living sentient being in existence believe in or do whatever you want them to believe in or do. Β You can do everything from teaching all sentient life forms your native language, to forcing them all to bow down to you and hail you as their overlord. Β It can be used for great good...or great evil. Β The crystal would actually be a sort of spiritual prison (i.e. a king of the Spirit Realm committed a forbidden crime, and is being forced to live out the rest of eternity in a crystal prison as punishment). Β If I actually manage to become an anime artist, you'd see this "Crystal of Influence" in a series I'd make.

Yes and no. No one knows where to find them and no one really knows what they do. There is a set of 5 stones, each one either hidden in the lowest levels of the ruins or held for study by the GUN.

In a sense, these Aurora Stones would play a similar role to what role the Chaos Emeralds typically play in the regular Sonic series?

Nope. Lance and company will be focused on other issues. If anything, I'd say they'd play a role as the chaos emeralds in the classic series. They are optional to collect, not a main goal.

Yes and no. They don't really work like Chaos Emeralds, so they can't turn Mobians into supers or grant wishes when brought together.Β

They do radiate energy that can build up a crystalline material around the stone over long periods of time, as well as an electric magnetic field around the stone that can disrupt electronic devices nearby. It can also "breakdown" to change shape, most commonly in the shape of a small creature that can scurry away from those trying to take it.
Let's just say this is more than just a rock. In fact, it's not a rock at all. It's artificial. What happens when all 5 are brought together, well that's a secret
