Be honest, what do you think about this outfit?

For my comic, many of the official Sonic characters will get new outfits. For Blaze, since royalty no longer matters to her since she lost her kingdom to Robotnik, I think she would have nothing much left to lose. She chooses a more modern outfit to fit in with the many less fortunate Mobians. Along with a new outfit would come a new state of mind.

Growing up, Blaze was royalty, and was probably pampered as a child. She most likely felt superior than everyone else, as shown how she speaks very proper and noble. Because she was outcast from society due her unnatural gift, she felt as though she should turn her back to others since no one would accept her for who she was, making her very unsocial and self dependent. She wore a cape to hide her flames as if she was ashamed of her gift.

Now, her kingdom feels betrayed. Blaze was unable to lead her kingdom, and she feels as though she doesn't deserve to be royalty, and she must prove herself to the world, thus throwing her cape aside, and fighting along the ones she swore to protect.

In other words she is no longer royalty, and is now part of the resistance.
