Quick note: Please full view this, since there is detail that might not be seen as well.This pic follows what did as a photomanip. It honestly grabbed my attention so much that this (and some of the other arts that I did), made me want to try and fiddle with art again. The base manipulation was his, and after talking with him, he allowed me to try my hadn at putting the fuzz factor on.
I have always wanted to try my hand at a photomanip of some sort or another, but the fur was one of the toughest things to get done. Plus side is that I saw a few tutorials on the topic and took information from a few of them and put together some brushwork of my own from them.
Please leave any comments for critiques on this, I would love to hear them. I hope you like it as much as I have putting it together

well, this time we're actually working together on this instead of him uploading something and I ask him well after if i could do the fur thign. His work also just prompted me to want to do art again - and for that I cannot ever thank him enough. 2 years without uploading anything is, um, well disappointing.
Now I'm just doing a bunch of different stuff that I can honestly say I am HAPPY with, adn I've been experimenting more with what i can do than anything else.

A shame my policy enables me to fav only female subjects... But that one really rocks!!! I can largely say that's the most realistic fur manip I ever saw by now!

The fur technique definitely works. I have to agree about the fur on the ear...but it is all a learning process

i think what i should do with the ear is maybe put n a lighter base fur color as a 'dummy' layer or something to have it smoothen in a bit more... it is something to tinker about with.
And I am having fun, which is a good sign. :nods:

That would probably work.....I end up alot of times just leaving the ear furless as personally I like the look of it without the fur.

Anyhoo, I'm amazed at how well it's placed on the photograph. To be honest, the only bit that looks "fake" is the ear. It's too sharp to seem real, so your brain goes "Aha! Photoshop!!". But other than that... wow...

well, again - i just put the fuzz on and the eye, the ear fur was kind of tough - but I have a few things I am going to try and see if this will tweak it out... ~wetlegs6 has got a load of potential with what he does as it is, I hope he continues on with this type of art.
