Okay, here's my critique.
I really like the pose, it brings out detail and key parts of the picture that would might be lost if you would have chosen a different pose. The design of the character is very balanced, you have an equal amount of red and blue around the character and the white really balances it off. I have to admit, I’m a little confused where his mouth is... I’m not too sure if he is biting down on his claw or if his claw is just resting under his muzzle. Another thing I’d like to point out is his claws on his arm that is holding up the sphere, they look almost flattened and 2D, but I’m guessing it’s just the perspective.
I really like the expression too, it almost looks like he’s plotting something. Well done.
