Here are the patterns that I used to create my Midna plushie. Like I said before, I sort of just winged it and drew what I thought would work, then I sewed it together.

For anyone who feels like using this for their own doll, I highly suggest that you redraw a better version because this was just a quick sketch and I'm fairly certain that cutting these shapes out and putting them together would look lopsided or something (and of course, it's not the right size). I just posted this for people who have trouble breaking apart a 3D object in their minds to get the pattern.
