I made a mistake, since I copied the outfit from the reference photo, and changed the colours. I almost pulled off a Greg Land.

Well, WC is the sign I see almost everywhere I go, and so far it has always been on the door of a toilet, so it took me by surprise that you called me a WC.
So, what does "world-cup" mean, other than that thing they give out to winners on sports events?

Thanks. Actually, I just realized that the saying "tools don't matter if you have talent" is a load of hoey. I could never draw something like this in GIMP, and I warmly suggest that you try out Krita.

SilentMortal In reply to LannaD [2014-03-30 08:58:14 +0000 UTC]
Oh. Is that sorta like Photoshop? I mean if Krita is easier to work with in general, then i'll happily download that program.
π: 0 β©: 1
LannaD In reply to SilentMortal [2014-03-30 09:07:40 +0000 UTC]
Krita is like a simple, free version of Photoshop.

SilentMortal In reply to LannaD [2014-03-30 09:26:21 +0000 UTC]
Then i'm sold. I just download Krita right now; it certainly seems more advanced then Photoshop, I can tell you that. Now I just need to get a hang of the basics of it.
Thanks a bunch for the suggestion, this will surely be of good use to me.

One last word of advice, get this brush pack, as it is far better than the default stuff you get with the program: wolthera.info/?p=589
Also, the net is full of Krita tutorials, so feel free to search for some on youtube.

Sorry for the late reply. Anyway thanks, I just downloaded the brush pack (Should I also download the ink pack, or is unnecessary?)
That was already my plan on how get the started.

LannaD In reply to SilentMortal [2014-03-30 15:21:30 +0000 UTC]
That brush pack is the pack of brushes meant for inking.

SilentMortal In reply to LannaD [2014-03-30 15:47:01 +0000 UTC]
Right, but is downloading the new ink pack a good thing? I mean, there is a standard ink pack that comes with the program, right?
π: 0 β©: 1
LannaD In reply to SilentMortal [2014-03-30 16:03:53 +0000 UTC]
Yes, but it's rather aliased/grainy, and doesn't look good.

Alright, then I guess I will keep the new ink pack as well.

She was seen as 'conservative' for so many years, but many people forget Marvel Girl mini skirtΒ uniform and Black Queen. You can also count Madelyne'sΒ Goblin and Red Queen outfits. And don't forget 'Here Comes Tomorrow' Dark Phoenix uniform.

LannaD In reply to yerbouti [2014-03-31 19:16:16 +0000 UTC]
I meant the Phoenix, but Black Queen was a bit of a different situation, since "she'd never wear that on her own". The red dress?

Do you mean the Phoenix cosplayer?Β Batwoman is more 'conservatively' dressed plus she hasΒ pale/white face and red wig.
