" Test Drive"

Lucia test driving her mobile armament platform /M.A.P "Longinus". She took the bike for a ride during dawn along highway 101 that crosses the large lake surrounding M.A.G.A.Y.O.N island. Since Lucia is an android that is comparable to a full sized ANIMATON "Giant robot XD" in term of output and complexity, she still need external plugin equipment modules "EPEM" Longinus is specifically designed to carry these modules.

Well another finished product from yours truly. I am actually working on this for a month already before I made my last project "Pumpkin Cloud Racer". This piece is where I experimented on the painting techniques used on that other piece. That's why it took that long to make.

Everything here in this piece are original character designs that I made.Reference piece [link] The floating bike is inspired by those 30's race/ sports cars. The scene is inspired by the pacific coast highway here in California. I like art-deco designs so that also influenced the overall design aspect of the piece.

This is partially traditional, the line art and then heavily modified and edited,colored digitally using SAI. The line art is also about 2 years old so it's quite different compared to my recent works. but in the end it came out ok.
