I've been working on a comic project for .. hum .. years. Basically, I never work on it when I don't really have time, so that's why it takes forever. I have a lot of OC's, but all of this needs a scenario.
I understand what you mean, since I've been making fanart only. But the range of what I do is wider and now everyone gets to take a look at it.

It sounds like me and the book I'm writing, lol. I've spent years on it without much progress, but at least now I have it planned out and the characters are becoming more developed. I have the first 2 chapters up, but I always get nervous about actually writing it, for some reason...
Yeah fanart is awesome, but original stuff is good too. I like both.

I totally understand the feeling. You've been keeping it in mind for so long that when the time comes you are actually afraid to show it to the world through the writing/drawing, because they've become so personal and kind of intimate ...
I like both as well, I think they are two different kinds of art that can't be compared under the originality point of view.
I'll try, I'll try ! I currently have two main projects thate at a lot of time. I'll make a journal about that on this account, so you guys can know a bit more about it. :3
