Heyyy everyone. How you doin'. Wrapping up the school / work year yet?

Well, I did say I am officially on a vacation yet gonna drop a thing or two on you every now and then.
This is one of the things I meant, and as you can see it has been waiting publishing for a couple of weeks.

I was saving it specially for the Winter Solstice.

Not much about it I guess. Yet another spectacular photograph of the Northern Lights that caught my eye and my heart long ago, and now finally I get to show what I made of it. I guess I am getting bolder with colors and lights, getting more the hang of whimsical textures and figuring out how to draw things without rendering them down to the last pixel in an impossible tangle of layers, which has been my vice for a long time. What I mean to say is that I am slowly learning how to paint a landscape. (Now you might tell me that I am doing that so well already, but I'm gonna tell you that this is the reference's merit more than my own.)
I won't ramble more because I'm on a vacation. I hope you enjoy the splendour of the Northern Lights one more time as my Solstice gift for you, courtesy of the brilliant photographers of deviantART of course.
