Description
The truly spectacular view, the one I was actually keen on when stopping there in the first place.
The mountains on the northern side of the valley are a chain of ridges and jagged peaks.
A truly amazing scenery.

I gotta say I am having a lot of fun identifying the peaks from the photos, using a very nice online map of Norway, which shows very detailed relief and includes the names of many more mountain peaks, lakes, rivers, valleys and fjords than maps.google can even dream of. Reading the relief on the map and finding the exact location from the picture by its topological characteristics (can YOU do that, eh? ) is really lots of fun, and that's how I found out I had actually marked our first stopping point in Kattfjorddalen wrongly. However, what I was most keen on here was to find out the name of that really insane sharp peak over there - and it was missing from the online map.
It took some rummaging and googling it by its altitude to find out its name. I must say I am very happy with the result, read below

The snowy peak on the left is Skittentinden (1 041 m), a curious 4-edged pyramid mountain really.
The sharp peak protruding to the right is Djeveltanna (963 m). Literally, "The Devil's Tooth".

As mentioned, I discovered a mistake on the map.
We stopped by the far end of the Kattfjordvatnet lake.
