AJ and Monroe's relationship is unique in more ways than one. AJ is Muslim and Monroe, I'm not really sure. Giving his history, I don't imagine him being particularly religious or spiritual. BUT when I do picture him as human, he'd be Irish. I imagine their relationship being more like a puzzle, working to fit pieces together rather than have one side dominating the other. AJ's origin is still bit of WIP. She was raised by her paternal grandparents and great aunt (her parents went MIA after she was born). She is Americanized, but still adheres to certain customs. She's either from Syria, Egypt, Morocco or Turkey, I haven't pinpointed a country yet...
