The switch needs to impress me before I get this game. Right now it seem like they are following the same game plan as the failure one for the WiiU.

Didnt like the beginner clothes so figured screw it, I'll stay in boxers till something better comes up. Even if it has meant freezing to death multiple times in a snowy place, but still made it through....eventually. XD

Yeah, I found lighting a wooden weapon on fire keeps you warm as well....just avoid enemies as you do. XD

Yeah, you go to a campfire with a pot and a lit fire, go to your menu and select which food items you want to hold then out of the menu, you put them in the pot and just experiment really. If something sounds tasty together with something, put it in. If something like a moblin heart sounds gross, it most likely will be. XD

I've gotten the para glider and the warm doublet. Breath of the wild is really fun. Cooking is easy there are multiple ways to do so, I recommend finding flint which you'll have to look under rock faces, you can strike it with any metal material you find with a stack of wood you can lay on the ground to start a campfire. Campfires are useful if you want to cook meats and fruit on the fly like raw meat and bird drumsticks and apples, you simple drop or throw the food at the fire and wait till it changes it into it's cooked form. The pots you have to light with flint and any metal material or torches or fire arrows once you find them.
Monster parts work in conjunction with the high tailed lizard and the razor beetle for the two basic potions of speed and might you simply hold one of either the lizard or the beetle and hold a bokoblin fang, broken horn and or keese wing. You'll get a fruit stew if you toss in an uncooked apple into the pot which is useful and you'll make candy out of the honey comb when you toss it by itself as well.
*edit* I forgot to mention you need the woodsman's axe to chop certain thin trees for campfire wood.

Temple? So there are temples in the game? Or are you referring to the shrine where you get the power to create frozen pillars?

I can't say without spoiling it but I'm going to refer to them as "temples", Up to my second one now, This one involved a more feminine approach.

I'm not rushing the game I'm discovering more shrines to boost my Link, so far i'm up to 9 and one I found high in the mountains has a sister shrine i'm having to look for because apparently the layout and the orb placement in that shrine is the answer to it's sister shrine and I need to go to that one to solve the other one.

Yeah I just did that one a few hours ago, one of them was 24135 if I recall, I think the other one was 51242 right? Anyway I wasn't rushing, I'm just doing what I come across.

Thanks I'll keep that in mind I was smart enough to map out the layout of the one I visited so 24135 makes sense.
