So yeah, a quickie I did to celebrate 3rd gen remakes. Shows ya how busy I've been since they were announced.
So yeah, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. These were indeed good games, despite the fact you needed to buy other games to catch em all, but still enjoyable (But I'll be honest, I'm super happy the Diamond and Pearl remake speculation can finally begin, lol. XD). And hey, HOPEFULLY we can be treated to Anabel and Greta again......IN 3D NO LESS! X3
So yeah, roll on November.

This is actually not that good of a thing. This is highly suggestive that they're going to keep remaking and remaking games. That will lead to Pokemon growing stale.

To be fair, it has been 4 years since HGSS so its not like they remake games all the time and all of them on one system (Rumored Halo Collection for XBONE anyone?) and fans are always going to speculate the next remake and point fingers at the smallest little hint of a remake.Β
I do admit they are releasing the RPG series at a game a year since HGSS or Platinum but it is one of their hot sellers like Mario anything. COD's been pretty stale but still ships millions if not billions for Activision, so I doubt a company would slow down a franchise that people would keep buying every year, especially when things like the Wii U havent sold as well as Nintendo would of liked.

The Halo Collection is mostly remastered versions. Β And don't use sales to justify a series continuance. As the old saying goes, just because you can make money doesn't mean you should. And was "Yuna" really necessary. Just rubs me wrong.

True, but HD 3D remakes will be all the more awesome if they go with a HD handheld (HDS anyone?). :3 Not to mention we've had a new entry in the main RPG series every year since HGSS, so yeah.

Using a special version of the DeSmuME emulator (the most reliable DS emulator), it's possible to bump the internal resolution up to 4 times the regular resolution, which allows you to see 3D models in all their glory (not that DS Pokemon games use that much 3D anyways and it comes at the expense of slow frame rates, though if you have a good enough PC it'll be negligible). Once the 3DS gets an emulator (probably in the next 2-5 years), it'll probably have a similar function.Β
