Ultra Fractal*tdierikx kindly allowed me to play with the parameters for her image Solaris [link]
I added a few layers and zoomed in a bit and this is the result.

This is a great fractal for so many different reasons. I love the patchwork feel to it. The colours are beautiful and whaen opened on full view, the detailing is unbelievable

At first sight, I see a chessboard, very usual and comforting vision. Then, I'm beginning to see strange curves that are attracting me inside the squares... Then I start to realize: Wait! This is not one chessboard, this is an infinite superposition of chessboards! All have a different angle and scale, and they are all transparent. And these curves... at a huge depth, they are materializing into little spheres, in an incredible combination of lines, textures and colors!
