I love that many of the asl letters just /fit/ with the written letters. I mean, even if you didn't know your fingerings you'd be fairly well able to guess what this says.
On your photography: I think the grayscale photos were a really good choice. If I were to do anything differently it would be to have all your signs facing the way someone would read them if they were facing you; so your L and your O's would be flipped around.
