This is a fantastically immersive piece of work that flows beautifully. It's enough to hold the interest of those who aren't usually fond of portraiture, which is testament to the qualities found here. Great stuff, and certainly deserving of the award and the attention that it has achieved.

Thats nice! You got a lil bio mechanical thing going on with the black lineart. The textures are really suttle which I like about it the most. Its not threatening. Faved already

Did you watch "The Cathedral" by mister Tomasz Baginski? He is a Polish animator who was once ominee to Oscars Awards for this short "The Catherdal" movie. He also won BAFTA and some other awards (you can find something more about it here .). I'm asking becouse when I saw this picture "The Cathedral" was a first thing on my mind... I like her hairs - I think of elves when I see it. Or about some other fantasy creature. I also like her expression (alghough we don't see that too much).I whish I could draw like you - it's really good piece of work
